The Benedictine University men's volleyball team finished out a four-match journey out East with a split of two three-set decisions on Saturday.
The first match of the day came against the defending national champions, #2 Stevens.
Brannen Almarales out down 14 kills but Benedictine hit just .080.
Spencer VanEngen distributed 30 assists.
Chase Olson recorded four blocks with Noah Chanthlangsy and Almarales both recording five digs.
The trip ended on a positive note with a sweep of Bard. Benedictine hit .215 in the contest.
Gabriel Pate tallied 10 kills with
Mason Hayes and
Chris Radomski each tallying nine.
Chandler Olson collected 10 digs while dishing 26 assists.
Every loss this season has come to a program that is either ranked or receiving votes.
Benedictine (5-6) opens conference play on Thursday night with the first home contest in nearly a month against Illinois Tech.
