The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team scored four goals in the fourth quarter but could not dig out of an early hole in a 12-8 non-conference loss to Calvin in Michigan.
Calvin scored the first three goals of the game and led 12-4 early in the fourth before Benedictine put together four consecutive tallies.
Will Robinson scored three goals and added a pair of assists.
Ben Zimmerman and
Tyler Sarna both scored a goal and dished an assist.
Colin Doyle recorded 14 saves in goal with
James McDonald adding eight. Benedictine was 19-of-23 on clears and scooped 25 groundballs.
Benedictine (1-6) plays at Carthage on Wednesday.
