The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team slowed down MSOE to record a fourth consecutive win by an 8-2 final in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Benedictine broke open a very low scoring game in the third quarter. Leading 2-1 at halftime, Benedictine scored five goals in the third and used their defense, which held MSOE scoreless in two quarters, to tally the win. Four of the eight goals in the contest came in man-up situations.
Will Robinson scored the first two goals including the game-winner in the second quarter. Robinson scored three times in the victory.
Luke Grant netted a pair of goals and added two assists while
Ben Zimmerman scored once and dished out three assists.
Colin Doyle made 12 saves in net.
Benedictine (5-8, 4-1 NACC) will host conference leading Aurora on Saturday afternoon.
