The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team continues to wind down the 2024 season, dropping a 17-6 decision to Aurora at home on Saturday.
Benedictine never led in the game. Aurora scored the first four goals before
Robert Schroeder tallied Benedictine's first in the opening minute of the second quarter. Aurora led 10-2 at halftime.
Benedictine dominated in the faceoff circle, winning 18 draws.
Jonathan Zimmerman was 18-of-26 with 15 groundballs.
Ben Zimmerman and
Tyler Sarna scored twice for Benedictine.
Colin Doyle made 10 saves in goal.
Benedictine (5-9, 4-2 NACC) visits Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon.
