Slew of Women's Basketball Players Earn NACC Recognition

Four Benedictine University women's basketball players were honored by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with postseason recognition following the 2024-25 campaign.

Allison Jarvis led the recognitions with a Second Team All-NACC award while Hailey Bachmann, Makenzie Carroll and Alexis Schueler were named Honorable Mention All-NACC.

Jarvis led a balanced Benedictine team in scoring as the lone player to eclipse double figures at 12.4 points per game. The freshman also finished third on the team in rebounding at 4.8 per game. Jarvis hit double figures in 19 games, posting an impressive career best 29 in the NACC Tournament opener at Aurora. The Woodridge, Ill. native posted 14 games with five or more rebounds. Jarvis sat 13th in the conference in scoring.

Bachmann started all 27 games and established herself as one of the top three-point shooters in the conference. The freshman averaged 8.2 points per game while leading the team in rebounding at 6.3. Bachmann hit double digits on 10 occasions with a career best 21 against Aurora on January 29. The Hales Corner, Wis. native tallied three games with double-digit rebounds including a season best 12 on January 15. Bachmann recorded five or more boards in 21 games. Bachmann shot .305 from three-point range, 16th in the conference.

Carroll averaged just under double figures at 9.9 points per game. The junior averaged 4.7 rebounds per game and was second on the club with 54 assists and added 35 steals. Carroll collected her first recognition from the conference after hitting double figures in 16 games, tallying a season best 20 against Aurora in the NACC Tournament. The Indianapolis, Ind. native reeled in 10 boards against Edgewood on February 5, falling just short of a double-double.

Schueler stepped into the starting lineup immediately along with several of her other underclassmen, having her named announced before the game in all 27 contests. The freshman led the team with 65 assists while ranking third in scoring at 9.3 points per game. Schueler also led the team with 42 steals. The Kaneland graduated scored 10 or more points on 11 occasions led by 20 on February 1 against Lakeland. Schueler collected a steal in 20 contests and finished 16th in the conference in that area.

Benedictine concluded the year 15-12 with a 10-6 conference mark, falling in the NACC Tournament semifinals.
