The Benedictine University football team ended Aurora's 46-game conference win streak with a 36-35 fourth quarter comeback that encompassed a weather delay and two players received weekly recognition from the conference for their efforts in the victory.
Jack Moses was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week. Moses was 26-for-37 with 322 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, directing the offense.Â
Velazquez earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors after booting a field goal in the win along with three extra points while averaging 62 yards on kickoffs.
Benedictine (3-0, 1-0 NACC) plays at Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday.
