MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Benedictine University's women's tennis team made the trek to Wisconsin on Saturday and came home with a pair of Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) wins over Wisconsin Lutheran College (6-3) and Alverno College (8-1). With the wins, the Eagles improved to 8-5 overall and 7-3 in the NAC.

Two members of the Benedictine squad - freshman Lina Savickas and junior Andrea Oliva - each had perfect afternoons by going 4-0 at their respective levels.

Savickas, playing the No. 6 singles position, won both singles competitions in straight sets.  She then teamed with Nicole Choinka at No. 3 doubles to win twice, as well.

Oliva, the Eagles' No. 4 singles player, lost just five games all day in the individual matches.  She and doubles teammate Leigh Martino won at No. 2 doubles versus Wisconsin Lutheran (8-4) and were bumped to the No. 1 doubles tandem for the Alverno match, where they also won (8-2).

At No. 2 singles, senior Lisa Carrillo won both of her matches in straight sets and went 1-1 at doubles with partner Ewelina Stachulak. Stachulak was 1-1 at No. 1 singles, as well.

Martino and Choinka, playing at the No. 3 and 5 singles slots respectively, each went 1-1.
