The Benedictine University tennis team played its last match on the Fall schedule on Saturday, falling to North Central College 9-0. With the loss, BenU finished with a 7-4 overall record on the season.
In singles,
Andrea Goyao played well for BenU in the first spot, falling 6-4, 6-1 (10-8).
Anna Savio also had a strong performance in the fifth spot in a 6-3, 6-1 defeat. The duos of

Anna Savio both fell 8-2 in the first and seccond doubles matches.
"This was a tough match, but a good test heading into our winter offseason," said Head Coach
Jonathon Schmidt. "We can learn a lot from this defeat, and we will be ready for the conference tournament."
The NACC Tournament begins on April 28, and as the fourth seed, BenU will host Dominican University in round one. Before the tournament, the Eagles have a match scheduled for February 2 against Quincy University.
