LISLE, Ill. – The Benedictine University women's tennis team suffered their first Northern Athletics Conference loss on Thursday night, falling in a close match to Concordia University-Wisconsin, 5-4.
Benedictine was only able to win two-of-six singles matches, including No. 3 Stachulak defeating Julie Spransy in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3 and No. 5 Savickas who won 6-4 and was down 3-4 before Kristine Weber retired.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday morning, taking on Wisconsin Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. contest against Alverno.
