MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Benedictine University women's tennis team dropped two Northern Athletics Conference matches on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles lost a heartbreaker to Milwaukee School of Engineering, 5-4, then fell 8-1 to Concordia University-Wisconsin.
Against MSOE, the Eagles lost all three doubles matches but came alive in singles play to almost take the match.
MaryClare Loughery won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while
Lina Savickas was victorious at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 6-1. Neha Shukla and Ashley Hall also won at No. 23 and No. 4 singles.
Benedictine also lost all three doubles matches to CUW. Loughery won at No. 1 singles, 7-5, 7-5.
