LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University tennis team fell 7-2 to non-conference opponent, North Central College, on Tuesday afternoon at the BenU Tennis Courts.
The Eagles (0-3) lost all three doubles matches, but
Vivianna Iway and Neha Shukla were close at No. 2 doubles, falling 8-6.
In singles, Iway defeated Katie Hatch (6-3, 6-4) at No. 3 singles while
Nicole Choinka won at No. 6 singles (3-6, 6-4, 7-4).
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 10 when they host Marian University at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. match-up against Lakeland College.
