The Benedictine tennis team lost two very tight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matches to begin the Fall season, falling 5-4 at both Milwaukee School of Engineering and Concordia-Wisconsin.

BenU took on MSOE at 9:00 a.m. The Eagles went 2-4 in the singles portion of the competition, with Micah Goyao winning the second singles match and
Kam Haifleigh coming out on top in the third. Also, the Eagles went 2-1 in the doubles portion, with Haifleigh and
Vivianna Iway taking the first match and Goyao and
Anna Savio taking the second.

At Concordia-Wisconsin later in the afternoon, the Eagles once again went 2-4 in singles matches and 2-1 in doubles. Goyao and Haifleigh once again came out on top, with Goyao winning the first match and Haifleigh winning the third. The same pairings (Iway/Haifleigh and Goyao/Savio) earned victories in the doubles matches.

Tennis is back on action on Wednesday against another NACC foe: Concordia-Chicago. The Eagles will face the Cougars on the road at 4:00 p.m.
