Leading the entire contest, the Benedictine University men's basketball team saw four players reach double figures in a 78-67 win at Edgewood to break a three-game slide in a return to conference play. After trailing by 17 in the second half, Edgewood pulled within five at the 2:33 mark, but Benedictine held on for the win using a solid effort from the line. Benedictine made 25 free throws in the game.
Andrew Stokes and
Cullen Cosme both tallied double-doubles. Cosme scored a game best 22 to go with 10 rebounds while Stokes continued a string of double figure games, finishing with 12 and 11.
Brandon McCoy totaled 18 points off the bench while
Trevor Montiel tacked on 11.
