Benedictine University Athletics

Williams was a two-sport athlete who owned multiple school records in both football and track and field. Williams was named all-conference in football from 1971-73 and tied the school's career interception record with 11 in 1974. He is also a two-time Kodak Academic All-American (1972 and 1973). In track and field, Williams was a three-time MVP from 1972-74 and owned all of the sprinting, long jump and triple jump records from 1972-74. He was a two-time all-conference athlete and named the school's Athlete of the Year in 1974.
