Hall of Fame
Kenneth Carruthers was inducted into the Benedictine University Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998 as a student-athlete.
Ken was a four-year football starter who set several individual and career records including the single season record for rushing (1,283 hards) and the career record for rushing.
Carruthers was a three-time All-District honoree (1973-75) and was named Little All-American in 1975. He was also team captain.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Secondary Education in 1976.
