Hall of Fame
Don Sebestyen joins many other individuals from the early 1970’s era of football to be inducted into the Hall of Fame including another individual this year. The era helped pave the way for the legacy of Benedictine football.
A four-year starter on the offensive line, Sebestyen played every offensive snap during his tenure. Offensive linemen don’t accumulate stats, but Sebestyen was dedicated to helping the team be successful and went on to a long career in education.
Sebestyen served as captain of the team and helped direct an innovative offensive system that led the NAIA in total offense.
