Peter Mastandrea still holds the single season record for receptions, reeling in 77 passes in 1977.

A Second Team NAIA All-American in 1977, Mastandrea was a two-time all-district selection and was twice named Illinois Sports Information Directors All-State.

On the baseball diamond, Mastandrea still ranks second on the single season leaderboard for walks and appears twice on the single season stolen base list. A three-time all-conference selection, Mastandrea still finds his name among the career leaders in stolen bases, walks, runs and doubles.
