Mark Walsh was inducted into the Benedictine University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013 as a student-athlete.

One of the top football players during the early 1970s, Mark was a four year starter at center. Considered one of the best offensive linemen in school history, Walsh was a Little All-American in 1972 and part of a team that was a national leader in total and rushing offense.

Mark was also a three time NAIA-All District 20 Team member in 1970, 1971 and 1972.
