Hall of Fame
Tom Beck was inducted into the Benedictine University Hall of Fame in 2000 as a coach.
Beck coached the Eagles from 1970-1974 and accummulated a 37-12-1 overall record (.750 winning percentage).
He coached the 1972 team that went 9-2 overall, the second best record in school history.
Beck played football at Northern Illinois Univeristy where he started on offense, defense, and played special teams. He was the last two-way player in the history Huskies football. Beck was All-Conference on both offense and defense, an Academic All-American and was inducted into the Northern Illinois University Athletics Hall of Fame. He has also been inducted into the athletic hall of fame at Elmhurst College and Grand Valley State University as a coach.
