Kevin Hendricks was a middle of the order presence and drove in 141 runs during his career, fifth all-time.
Hendricks was a two-time academic All-American and was twice named All-Region. The Mundelein, IL native finished with 205 career hits, one of just seven players in program history to eclipse 200 in a career. Honored three times with all-conference recognition, Hendricks drew 91 career walks, fifth in program history. After missing the entirety of 2012, Hendricks returned in a big way to be a key part of the 2013 team that matched a then school record with 32 victories and advanced to the NCAA Regional for the first time since 2003. Hendricks led the 2011 team with a .386 average, driving home 44. Â
The Carmel Catholic graduate hit .356 in the historic 2013 season, primarily batting third in the order. Hendricks totaled 64 hits with 1 homer, 38 RBIs and 18 stolen bases while notching 20 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI contests. He finished his career with 36 stolen bases, leading the team in steals twice. The left-handed hitter also twice led the team in RBIs.
