Bill Callahan was inducted into the Benedictine University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 as a student-athlete.

Callahan was a four-year starting quarterback for Illinois Benedictine College from 1974-1977 including one year under another Benedictine Hall of Fame member, Tom Beck.

Callahan earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors his last two seasons and graduated from IBC with a Physical Education degree in 1978.

Callahan has spent time coaching at Northern Arizona University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Oakland Raiders, Nebraska University, the New York Jets and is currently the offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
