Kilpatrick was part of the 1992 softball team that earned a trip to the NCAA Division III Softball Championships after winning the conference with a 30-9 overall record. Kilpatrick earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American and All-Region honors in 1992 as a pitcher. Kilpatrick finished her career with a 64-30 overall record from 1989-1992, starting 94 games and is ranked 19^th in the NCAA record books with 87 complete games
