Benedictine University Athletics

Tim Hendricks is the all-time leader in hits for the Benedictine University baseball team, with 239 over his four years from 2012-2015. The total was the most in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) history at the time and currently still sits seventh.

Hendricks was an All-American in 2013 after being selected as the NACC Player of the Year, helping Benedictine reach the NCAA Division III Regional for the first time since 2003. The 2013 team owns several single season school marks and equaled the previous total for victories (32) that was broken by the 2024 team. Hendricks hit .422 that season, second in the conference, racking up 78 hits, scoring 55 runs along with four homers, 30 RBIs and 18 steals. The 78 hits rank second all-time in single season program history while his 55 runs are currently sixth. The Carmel Catholic graduate earned three All-Region awards and was a three-time First Team All-NACC selection in addition to being named to the conference’s All-Freshman Team in 2012.

Hendricks made 165 career starts and posted 44 doubles, fifth in program history. The Mundelein, IL native is also listed among the program’s all-time leaders in runs (135), RBIs (104) and batting average (.365).
